CHIF (Cultural Heritage Interoperability Framework) is an intermediate level of interoperability between the evidence- or collection-based management systems and the enhancement applications thereof.
CHIF is perfectly harmonized with all good practices and shall ensure the content transfer of a collection management system with a view to be Europeana completely compatible with.
It merely consists of three parts:
1. Content Processing System
2. Taxonomy Management System
3. Handle Persistent identifiers system
